BUILDING & ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

A closer eye
on your spaces.

Temperature, humidity, energy, and leak monitoring. Useful visibility for the places and systems your business depends on.

SMALL CHANGES. USEFUL SIGNALS.

Know what’s happening
around you.

Choose the readings that matter, in the places where they matter most.

Temperature

Keep an eye on cold storage, refrigeration, and room temperatures.

Humidity

Understand moisture levels in offices, storage areas, and other indoor spaces.

Energy

See usage patterns with meters and sensors suited to your electrical setup.

Water leaks

Place sensors at vulnerable points to help identify water where it shouldn’t be.

THE RIGHT SENSOR. IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

Different readings.
Different installations.

A temperature sensor, a door contact, and an energy meter each answer a different question.

TEMPERATURE & DOOR STATUS

Inside the cooler. At the door.

How it is installed

A temperature sensor sits inside the monitored space, or a rated probe reaches inside through a suitable fixed entry point. A separate magnetic contact detects whether the door is open or closed.

An open door and equipment running are different signals. A door contact does not measure compressor power.

WATER LEAK DETECTION

Where water would collect.

How it is installed

A spot probe or sensing cable sits at floor level near plumbing, refrigeration, or equipment. A separate transmitter stays clear of the water and reports through the site gateway.

Probe and cable options depend on the area you need to cover.

ENERGY & EQUIPMENT ACTIVITY

Measured at the electrical system.

How it is installed

Compatible current sensors or meters measure circuits at the electrical panel or equipment supply. They can reveal usage and activity patterns; they do not attach to a refrigerator door.

We scope panel access, the selected meter, and installation by a qualified electrical professional.

HARDWARE FROM MYDEVICES

A sensor for the space.

Sensor options

myDevices is our primary source for on-site monitoring sensors. We can select from its range of temperature, humidity, door, leak, and energy devices to suit your building.

SENSORS → GATEWAY → YOUR TEAM

The connection behind every reading.

Our on-site monitoring uses a powered gateway to connect the sensors in your building to the monitoring platform.

  1. 01

    Sensors at the right points

Temperature inside the cold space, door contacts at the frame, leak probes on the floor, and energy sensors at the panel.

  2. 02

    An on-site gateway

The sensors report wirelessly to a LoRaWAN gateway. We plan its power, coverage, and internet or cellular connection with you.

  3. 03

    Your monitoring platform

The gateway forwards readings so you can review conditions and history in the myDevices platform.

  4. 04

    Useful alerts

Configured thresholds and supported notifications help the right person know when to check a condition.

Tracking works differently.

Our cellular Yabby Edge, BARRA Edge, and Bolt2 trackers report over the mobile network. They don’t need a gateway at your building. Coverage and an active tracking service are still required.

OFFICES & BUILDING SYSTEMS

See the conditions behind the scenes.

Monitor temperature and humidity, look for energy patterns, and place leak sensors near equipment or areas that need attention.

A practical setup starts with the rooms and systems you depend on.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Let’s make it clear.

Do I need a gateway?

Yes. SmartCore’s on-site monitoring sensors use a powered LoRaWAN gateway to forward readings to the platform. We plan gateway placement, power, network access, and sensor coverage for your site. Our cellular asset and vehicle trackers do not use this gateway.

What can you monitor?

We work with temperature, humidity, door status, energy, and leak detection. The device, placement, and connection are chosen for the condition you need to measure.

How will we receive alerts?

We choose the supported notification channels, recipients, and thresholds during setup. We also review the alerts with you so your team understands what a notification means.

Does monitoring control my equipment?

Monitoring provides readings and notifications. It does not automatically control refrigeration, HVAC, or other equipment unless a separate control integration is specifically included in your setup.

What happens if a device stops reporting?

Connectivity and reporting status matter as much as the reading itself. We discuss how the selected platform handles missing reports and what your team should check when a reading is out of date.
