SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT & ASSET TRACKING

Keep track of
what keeps you working.

Location visibility for specialized equipment and other assets that spend their days moving between jobs or waiting at a site.

START WITH YOUR ASSET

Useful visibility, wherever it works.

The asset, its power source, and its working environment shape the right tracking setup.

Equipment without power

Battery-powered hardware can provide reported locations without a permanent vehicle power supply.

Equipment between jobs

Associate each device with a named asset so your team knows what each report belongs to.

A record of movement

Review reported locations and their timestamps to understand where an asset has checked in.

A PRACTICAL INSTALLATION

The details matter
before the first trip.

We talk through where a tracker can be mounted, how the asset is used, and the information you need from it.

Placement & protection
Choose a secure mounting position suited to the device, its signal, and the asset’s working conditions.
Reporting & battery
More frequent reports can use more power. The setup needs to fit both your visibility needs and maintenance routine.
Names & responsibility
Keep a clear device-to-asset record and decide who checks locations, alerts, and low-battery reports.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Let’s make it clear.

Will a battery-powered tracker update continuously?

No. It reports according to its configuration, movement, available connectivity, and battery settings. A last-reported location always needs to be read with its timestamp.

Is tracking a replacement for locks or equipment security?

Tracking adds location information to your existing asset management and security practices. It cannot prevent theft or guarantee recovery.

Can different types of assets use the same setup?

Some can, but it depends on power, placement, coverage, and reporting needs. A mixed fleet may use more than one type of device.
